“dixie verse gy TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: A-1705 S-1508 Applications: 2005 Suzuki Forenza (Sedan and Wagon) 2005 Suzuki Reno Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain of one or more of the following conditions: – Slow hard cranking. – A failure to crank. – Low/dead batteries Cause: A potential cause for the above is excessive parasitic or quiescent draw caused by the dome light in the off position. Correction: The manufacturer has identified a fault in the factory supplied dome light that results in excessive current drain, even in the off mode. To correct this, the manufacturer has released a new dome light (36230-85210). Follow the manufacturer’s recommended procedures when diagnosing or replacing the dome light.
