Cause: A potential cause for the above condition is the push button start ignition system staying in the run cycle, even after the engine is turned off. This would cause excessive quiescent (parasitic) drain and, if left for an extended period would discharge the battery. Correction: The software for the body control module and keyless entry control module have been revised to correct this problem. Follow the manufacturers recommended procedures for updating the software.
