The technician my find various diagnostic trouble codes retained in the system. The issue may increase after previous wiring repairs. Cause: A potential cause for the above is poor grounding of the vehicle’s electronics. Correction: Follow the manufacturer’s recommended procedures for inspecting ground connections including but not limited to: Codes Location of Connection G100, G101, G102, G103 | In the engine compartment on the lower left side of the engine block. G104 In the engine compartment on the left inner front wheel well behind the battery. G105 The ground splice pack in the engine compartment at the left side inner fender, near the engine body control module. G106 The ground splice pack in the engine compartment at the right side inner fender, behind the air cleaner. G107 On 2010 models only, in the engine compartment on the left front upper control arm mount. When inspecting each connection ensure that all surfaces are clean and free of rust and that the hardware is properly tightened.
