Cause: A potential cause for the above condition is a software flaw, which does not permit the radio to enter the sleep mode if the ignition is turned off while the radio is turned on. The radio will drain approximately 0.7A (70mA) if this condition exists. Correction: Do not replace the radio! The manufacturer has released a software update to correct the problem. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended procedures to diagnose and update the software when applicable.
