fode ) TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: S-2095, S-2098, S-80143, and 246-30134 Applications: 2000 — 2001 Ford F-150 Dual-Fuel (compressed natural gas) Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain that while operating the vehicle with compressed natural gas that the engine will not start or that the crank time is longer then 10 seconds. In addition the engine my stall when the power steering is used and the engine is at idle (or moving less then 8KM/h) or the engine stalls when deceleration after climbing a step hill at low speed (less then 15 km/h) Cause: The Powertrain Control Module calibration files may not be current or the Compuvalve and/or the MAP line tubing may require replacing. Correction: Check that the Powertrain Control Module has been programmed to WDS Release B16.2 or later (there should be a decal indicating this near the emissions control decal showing updated per TSB XX-XX-X). Follow the manufacturer’s recommended procedures for proper diagnosis and repair of the Powertrain Control Module, Compuvalve and/or the MAP line tubing.
