Cause: A potential cause for the above condition is a manufacturing flaw with the drive belt idler pulley. Correction: Follow the manufacturer’s recommended diagnostic and replacement procedure, which includes removing the belt and verifying that the noise is no longer present. The manufacturer’s part number for the replacement pulley is 4S7Z-8678-A.
