LEXIE } TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: $-2154 Applications: 2007 Ford Edge 2007 Lincoln MKX Conditions: The operator of the vehicle may complain of one or more of the following conditions: – Intermittent no crank/no start – Heavy or extended cranking – The malfunction indicator lamp is on – The engine jerking or bucking The technician may find one or more diagnostic trouble codes stored in the system. Cause: A potential cause for the above conditions is a poor connection or unseated wire at the battery junction box. Correction: Follow the manufacturers recommended diagnostic and repair procedures, which seem to detail completely overhauling the battery junction box.
