Cause: A potential cause for the above condition is the original wiring harness routing allowed the harness to chafe on the engine compartment fuse box bracket. Extended chafing can lead to fractured wires, short circuits to ground and intermittent electrical problems. Correction: Inspect the wiring harness in the area noted above and follow the manufacturers recommended repair procedures when required to repair the wiring harness.
