Cause: A potential cause for the above condition is the rectifier/regulator module located below the seat. The manufacture has identified that excessive heat from the exhaust may have a negative affect on the rectifier/regulator module. Correction: The manufacturer suggests replacing the regulator, installing a heat guard between the regulator and exhaust system and a modified battery support.
