Cause: A potential cause for the above condition is an improperly manufactured ground terminal connection in the engine wiring harness. The terminal was not crimped properly during manufacturing and overtime may fatigue and fracture, sending false signals to the vehicles power train control module, resulting in the fuel system being shut down. Correction: Follow the manufacturer’s recommended inspection and repair procedures as required.
