“dixie verse gy TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: TBA Applications: 2009 Audi A4 A/T (CVT) Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain that there is a rattling noise when starting the engine in park. The noise reduces if the engine is started, shut off and restarted without moving the vehicle. After the 3″ or 4” start the rattling is completely gone. If parked for 20 to 60 minutes the rattling comes back. Cause: The cause is the gears in the transmission being in close proximity to the starter and ring gear. Correction: The manufacturer has released a notice indicating that the rattling is completely normal.
