1ode ) TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: TBA Applications: 2011 Dodge Journey (MDH1122xx to MDH0221) without the Tip Start Option Installed (option code XBN) Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain that the engine cranks but will not start. Cause: The factory installed vehicle starting logic had the cranking cycle time limited to 2 seconds. Correction: Follow the manufacturers recommended diagnostic and repair reconfiguration procedures, which include installing the Tip Start logic, which has a 10 second cranking cycle time, when applicable.
