divin | # | [| { & | verse gy TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: TBA Applications: 2010 — 2012 BMW X6 Active Hybrid (E72) Conditions: The operator of the vehicle may complain that during the initial period after the engine start up the message “Low Battery Charge” appears instead of “Low Engine Temperature.” Cause: The software released prior to ISTA/P 2/43.0 (E070-11-09-501) read “Low Battery Charge” which is not an indication of any vehicle charging issues. The system voltage drops while starting from the energy required to crank the engine and slowly raises as the charging system replenishes the battery. Correction: The message is simply a status indicator and no work on the vehicle is required.
