LXE } TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: A-80409 Applications: 1990 — 2000 Honda GL1500 Gold Wing Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain of one or more of the following conditions: – There is vibration at idle – There is a “clunk” sound on deceleration Cause: The coupling cushion for the alternator may be worn out or the rubber deteriorated. Correction: It is recommended that when replacing the alternator that the coupling cushion be replaced as well. Verify with your distributor as some sell these individually versus as a kit of 4 (required).
