The technician may observe diagnostic trouble codes P0335 and/or P0340 stored in the system. Cause: A possible cause for the above condition is a worn camshaft position sensor. Correction: The manufacturer has modified the original design of the camshaft position sensor to include grooves for improved life, however, original ones may still be in use. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended procedures for inspecting and replacing the camshaft position sensor.
