Cause: There are several potential causes for the above condition including: – The auto-tensioner failing. – Oil contamination on the belt. – Animproperly aligned belt (from the factory). Correction: Inspect the belt for the above conditions. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended procedures for inspecting the belt alignment and making corrections (if required).
