“dixie verse gy TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: S-80280 TBA Applications: 2007 — 2010 GMC Acadia 2007 — 2010 Saturn Outlook 2008 — 2010 Buick Enclave 2009 — 2010 Chevrolet Traverse Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain of one or more of the following conditions: – The engine fails to crank. – The security system warning light stays on. – The StabiliTrak® indicator light stays/message is displayed on the digital information center The technician may find diagnostic trouble codes C0186, C0196, C0710, U0121 or U2141 stored in the system. Cause: A potential cause for the above conditions is the body control module wiring harness. It is routed along the bottom of the steering column and the wiring harness may chaff against the steering column and over time result in wires shorting to each other or to ground. Correction: Follow the manufacturer’s recommended repair procedures to diagnose and reroute the harness if applicable.
