Cause: A potential cause for the above conditions is a short circuit in the wiring harness. The wiring harness may chaff and short to ground in the following locations: – Inthe rear sub-frame at the rear fender. – Inthe rear sub-frame at the seat mounting bolt. Correction: Follow the manufacturers recommended diagnostic and repair procedures and replace worn parts and reroute the wiring harness to avoid future chafing issues.
