“dixie verse gy TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: TBA Applications: 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee (VIN MDH 0217XX and MDH 0222xx) Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain that the engine fails to start when the start button is pressed without the key in the ignition (aka Keyless Go). Additionally the operator may complain that the passive entry also fails to respond. Cause: A potential cause for the above condition is a broken terminal on the passive entry antenna. Correction: Follow the manufacturer’s recommended diagnostic and repair procedures which include inspecting the antenna (located behind the tailgate scuff plate) and wiring for damage. The terminal may have been damaged during assembly… a hammer is not the recommended tool for installation… The manufacturer’s part number for the antenna is 05026444AA, should it require replacement.
