When testing the electrical system the technician may observe uncontrolled voltage. Cause: A potential cause for the above conditions is a manufacturing flaw in the voltage regulator/rectifier assembly. The assembly was manufactured with inadequate adhesive between the circuit board and heat sink resulting in poor heat transfer and damage to the voltage control circuit.
