LEXIE } TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: 2246-06131 Applications: 1994 Bombardier Speedster Conditions: — The operator of the vehicle may complain of erratic electrical problems, intermittent failure to crank conditions or vehicle fire. Cause: A potential cause for the above conditions is the starter and battery cable routing. The cables may have inadvertently been run in close to the fuel filter bracket and may chaff. The chaffing of the cables could result in an intermittent short circuit to ground. Correction: Follow the manufacturer’s recommended inspection and wire routing when applicable.
