LXE } TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: S-8544, S-8751 and S-8764 Applications: 2000 Dodge Ram Van/Wagon 2000 — 2001 Dodge Ram Truck Condition: Some vehicle operators may complain that the vehicle does not start. Inspection reveals that the starter relay fuse is blown (fuse number 17). Cause: A potential cause for this is a short circuit to ground in the starter relay. Correction: The manufacturer recommends testing the starter relay and circuit for shorts to ground with the aid of the appropriate wiring diagrams. If no shorts to ground are apparent the manufacture recommends replacing the starter relay circuit.
