mxIe ) TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: S-8399 Applications: 2000 Hyundai Accent with Automatic Transmission Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain of a crank no start condition up to and including an inoperative starter motor. Cause: A possible cause for this is a blown fuse (fuse #5 inside the vehicle). Correction: Replace the fuse (10A) and check for a short to ground in the wire for the overdrive switch, a black wire with a red trace. The wire is located under the centre console trim panel behind the automatic transmission shifter assembly. Correct the grounding condition using electrical tape and loom/tie downs to prevent re-occurrence.
