Cause: A possible cause could be an out of date calibration file. The vehicle manufacturer has released an updated calibration file for the Powertrain Control Module to address this issue. Correction: Before performing any work check the under hood decal to see if the updated calibration file has been loaded into the Powertrain Control Module. If it has there will be a reference to TSB EGO11-07 or higher. If the calibration has not been done, follow the manufacturer’s recommended procedures for updating the calibration file in the Powertrain Control Module.
