The technician may observe diagnostic trouble code PO63A stored in the system. Cause: A potential cause for this is the factory installed calibration file. Correction: Before checking any of the charging system components verify that the factory installed calibration file on the Powertrain Control Module has been updated. This will be noted on an Authorized Modification decal near the Vehicle Emission Control Information decal referencing TSB 18-007-07. If the calibration file has not been updated this should be done following the manufacturer’s recommended procedures.
