chiwia . & | [| { 8 | oxen / TECH TIPS Dixie Part Numbers: A-8336 A-8337 S-8231 S-8232 S-8233 Applications: 1989 — 1990 Mazda RX7 1.3L (both Turbo and normally aspirated) Condition: The operator of the vehicle may complain of one or more of the following conditions: e Intermittent no start e Intermittent hard starting e Intermittent lights flickering or dimming e Other electrical component issues Cause: A potential cause for the above conditions is the electrical wiring harness routing, which runs very close to the front right suspension tower. Correction: Inspect the clearance between the tower and the harness. There must be a minimum of 5mm between the wiring and the suspension tower. If there is a lack of clearance re-route the wiring harness by bending the wire support bracket in a manner that increases the clearance.
