Cause: A potential cause for the above condition is that the CD/DVD eject button has become stuck. If the button gets stuck it prevents the radio from going into the sleep mode leaving a high quiescent (parasitic) drain on the battery. This may cause the battery to run down to the point that it can not longer start the engine. Correction: Follow the manufacturer’s diagnostic and repair procedures for testing for excessive drain and to verify if the radio is the cause of the drain.
