MINUTES ERA Board of Directors Meeting Mar. 19, 2008 Start Time: 6:35 PM CST Attendees: Joe Bradish, Jim Thomas, Jerry Kieffer, Mike Schroeder, Joe Davis, Alan Melton, Kenny Turner, Dan Smith, Mike Dietrich, and Harald Kober. 1. More Show Information: a.) Mike Shroeder will bring the ERA show booth, printer and remaining ERA sales and giveaway items. b.) 18 board members will be in Grand Rapids leaving 12 breakfast slots for the Sunday board meeting available. They will be filled based on suggestions by the Executive Board. c.) 31 people are currently signed up for the Joe Davis seminars. d.) Jim Thomas suggested all board members call some rebuilders to help boost attendance in Grand Rapids. e.) Jerry Kieffer will have postcards made with the ERA recycle logo for Grand Rapids giveaway. f.) Board member cell phone numbers will be distributed to facilitate arrangements in Grand Rapids. 2. Membership and Newsletter Reports: a.) Jerry Kieffer reported the newsletter should be ready on Monday, Mar. 24th. b.) Two new members in February brings the membership to about 500. Jerry Kieffer will be notified of any future questionable trial memberships to help determine their validity. 3. Treasurer’s Report: A previous show commitment of Chris Thompson’s prevented him from attending. 4. Nominating Committee (ATTACHMENT): Jim Thomas read Dan Smith’s email (see attachment) into the record. Mike Schroeder recommended Daren Roggentien for an advisory board position.
