Minutes: ERA Board of Directors Wednesday August 17″, 2011 Start time 6:30 pm CDT Attendees: Bob Thomas, Ronnie Charnes, Alan Reynolds, Chris Thompson, Mark Hoogterp, Mike Conner, Joe Bradish, Kenny Turner, Dean Conner, Hank Henke, Tom Barrett, Wes Grueninger, Mike Schroeder, Ken Plourde, Daren Roggentien. Guest Attendee: Polly Shea 1: Treasurers Report: a. Chris Thompson reported a balance in the ERA checking of $15,117.00. Chris also reported that as of August 17″ the ERA has paid out approximately $2,000.00 more than income for the year. b. Wes Grueninger informed that the PayPal account has been instituted and is working well. 2: Membership Committee Report: a. Tom Barrett reported a current membership of 437 3: Technical/Training Committee Report: a. Bob Thomas reported that the Tech Line usage was up for the month. He also Informed that if this trend continues the budget for its use will have to be increased next year. b. Wes Grueninger talked on how he intends to use Joe Davis material. Joes seminar slides will be used with Joe talking; it will be just like sitting in on Joe’s seminar. The user will be able to control the slides, pausing or backing up if they desire. The name of the Joe Davis section on the ERA Web Site has not been determined. c. Mike Schroeder informed that a lot of time was spent discussing the list of topics Joe sent in for the first 20 segments. A few more topics were discussed and Wes will contact Joe about adding these. d. The “It Worked For Me Contest” is up and running and has had participation. 4: Old Business: a. Membership Committee Employee: 1. Tom Barrett reported that he has been in contact with Chris Thompson on Jean Harbrige starting to make membership phone calls for the ERA. (Chris has offered to have Jean as his employee to make these phone calls for the ERA. She will spend up 20 hours per week for a period of 90 days. After 90 days it will be determined whether to move forward with this being a permanent position with the ERA.) Wes has sent a DVD and script to Jean. Tom informed that he has talked with Jean about script for the phone calls. They determined that there should be 2 scripts, 1 for renewals
