Minutes: ERA Board of Directors Wednesday January 18″, 2012 Start Time 6:30 pm CST Attendees: Alan Reynolds, Ronnie Charnes, Bob Thomas, Joe Bradish, Tom Barrett, Kenny Turner, Bill Ernst, Mike Dietrich, Dean Conner, Wes Grueninger, Mike Schroeder, Ken Plourde, Daren Roggentien. President Henry Henke was unable to attend. Joe Bradish presided over the meeting. 1: Treasurers Report: Chris Thompson was unable to attend the meeting and provided the following Information. a. The ERA has a current balance of $25,947.67 in the ERA checking account with all bills paid in full. b. Chris posted a profit and lost statement for the 2011 budget year. The ERA had a net income of $9,958.00. c. Chris posted a revised proposal for the 2012 budget year. 2: Membership Report: a. Tom Barrett reported that the ERA signed on four new members for the month of December. b. Tom informed attendees that Jean had made 67 membership calls for the month of December. 3: Technical/Training Committee Report: a. Mike Schroeder reported that the committee has been inactive while Wes Grueninger was recuperating from health problems. b. Wes Grueninger informed attendees that he back working part time and hopes to back in full swing in February or March. c. Ken Plourde reported that he has shot some video for a technical video and will forward it on to Wes. 4: Old Business: a. ERA Trade Show: 1. Wes Grueninger reported that he has sent a letter to Mark Schiavone from The Buying Group on whether he would be able to attend the 2012 ERA Trade Show to supply members and prospective members on benefits of joining The Buying Group, a benefit of being an ERA member. Wes informed that Mark was unable to give him a decision but would have more information at the February ERA board meeting. 2. Ken Plourde informed that he didn’t have any new information at this time. 3. Bill Ernst informed attendees that WAI will have seminar on Bosch water cooled alternators. Bill informed that WAI will be demonstrating a VRC2010 voltage regulator tester and is working out the details on donating it to the ERA to raffle off at the Trade Show. Bill reported that he is also working on obtaining ERA members discounts to Lester
