Minutes ERA Board of Directors Wednesday January 16″, 2013. Call to order 6:30pm CST. Attendees: Tom Barrett, Chris Thompson, Joe Bradish, Drew Withrow, Kenny Turner, Ken Plourde, Rick King, Dean Conner, Jerry Kieffer, Mike Schroeder, Howard Gore, Larry Hagemeister, Alan Reynolds, Bob Thomas, Wes Grueninger, Alan Melton, Daren Roggentien. President Henry Henke was unable to attend the meeting. Executive Vice President Ken Plourde chaired the meeting in Henry’s absence. Treasurers Report: a. Chris Thompson reported a balance of $38,805.60 in the ERA checking account with all bills paid in full. Membership Report: a. Mike Schroeder reported that the current membership is 427. b. Mike informed attendees that Darlene has continued making membership calls as time permits. The past month has been difficult contacting rebuilders because of the holidays. Technical/Training Committee Report: a. Howard Gore reported that the Tech. Line usage was down for the month presumably because of the holidays. b. Howard reported that Wes Grueninger has added 2 new videos to the Tech Library. c. Howard reported that the committee had discussion on adding a link to the ERA Web Site that would allow non-members to purchase Tech articles and Tech videos. The committee felt this could spur some new members. d. Wes Grueninger informed that he is in the process of redesigning the ERA Web Site and now would be a good time to add this link. A question was asked on how long it would take to complete the redesign of the Web Site? Wes responded that he felt that he could complete the redesign in 30 days but probably would not be completed until after the 2013 ERA Trade Show in April. Attendees felt that this would be a good addition to the Web Site. Mike Schroeder made a motion to have Wes add a link to the ERA Web Site to allow non-members to purchase Technical articles and Videos. Rick King made a second to the motion. All ayes. Motion approved.
