Minutes ERA Board of Directors Wednesday June 4″, 2014. President Henry Henke called the meeting to order at 6:35 CDT. Attendees: Bill Ernst, Ronnie Charnes, Lonnie Bain, Howie Gore, Henry Henke, Lynn Gross, Kenny Turner, Scott Scharrer, Mike Schroeder, Gene Kaiser, Wes Grueninger, Larry Hagemeister, Ken Plourde, Bob Thomas, Alan Reynolds, Art Glass, Daren Roggentien. 1: Treasurers Report: a. b. Mike Schroeder reported a balance in the ERA Checking account of $18,795.00 with all bills paid. Mike informed that arrangements for automatic payments to the printer and mailer of The Exchange Newspaper have been made. Mike added that he is working on other items to smooth out the ERA Treasurers position. 2: Membership Report: President Henry Henke reminded everyone that the ERA is still in need of a Chairman for the ERA Membership position. a. b. Mike Schroeder reported that the ERA’s current membership stands at 450. Mike reported that he did not have any information on the number of expired memberships as the ERA’s office computer had been infected with a virus and shut down on June 4″. Mike added that they are working on retrieving information. Mike informed that Darlene has been continuing to make membership calls. 3: Technical/Training Committee Report: a. Howie Gore reported that Ken Plourde had filled in for Bob Thomas on the ERA Tech. Line while Bob was on vacation. b. Howie informed that the Tech. Line usage was up for the month. Howie reported that participation for the ERA Technical/Training Committee monthly conference call meeting has been light. Howie contacted Wes Grueninger about email notification for the monthly meetings. Wes informed Howie that of all the email notifications that are sent out only about 50% were opened. Howie added that the committee is working on ways to get participation up for the monthly meetings. Howie reported that committee discussed topics that will be added to The Exchange Newspaper in upcoming issues. Howie reminded everyone that The Technical/Training Committee are looking for seminar suggestions for the 2015 ERA Trade Show. Bill Ernst informed that both WAI and Lester were planning on having booths at the 2015 ERA Trade Show. Bill added that Lester would like to commit to having a 1-hour seminar.
